Boutique Operations Associate, SoHo

Job Description

Our client, a luxury jewelry brand , is seeking a Boutique Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of their high-volume SoHo boutique. This full-time, temporary position is expected to run through the holiday season with the potential to convert to a permanent role, based on performance and the needs of the business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys balancing operational responsibilities with client-facing support.\n

Job Duties Include

\n

\n
• Support daily boutique operations, inventory management, and stock organization
\n
• Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and merchandise control activities to maintain inventory accuracy
\n
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, transfers, client orders, and fulfillment requests
\n
• Assist with repair intake, tracking, follow-up, and coordination with service providers
\n
• Maintain operational records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company procedures
\n
• Monitor boutique supply levels and support operational needs as required
\n
• Ensure compliance with inventory control, security, and loss prevention procedures
\n
• Provide sales floor and client service support during peak business periods
\n
• Assist with special projects, operational initiatives, and additional boutique needs as assigned

Job Qualifications Include

\n

\n
• 1+ year of experience in retail operations, inventory control, customer service, or a related field
\n
• Luxury retail, jewelry, fashion, or specialty retail experience preferred
\n
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support both operations and sales functions
\n
• Experience with inventory management, shipping, fulfillment, or stock control preferred
\n
• Keyholder experience is a plus
\n
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation: $25-$28/hour plus commission opportunity\n
\n
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week\n
\n
Location: SoHo, New York City\n
\n
