HOUSEKEEPER (PART TIME)

Job Summary Job Availability: Immediate hiring for part‑time Housekeeper positions at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital, 2000 Church Street, Nashville, TN 37236. Schedule: Part‑time schedule; Sunday through Saturday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm and 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. Rotating weekends and holidays. Open availability required. Fixed Pay Rate: $15.81 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides quality customer service and one‑on‑one attention to detail. Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors. Vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstery. Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery. Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings. Cleans metal fixtures and fittings. Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash in a sanitary manner. Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers; wipes down glass surfaces. Makes up beds and changes linens as required; realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout. Responds to guest queries and housekeeping problem calls such as spills and broken glasses. Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, colleagues and others. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior housekeeping experience in a medical/sterile environment preferred, but not required. Open availability on rotating weekends and holidays. Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
