Senior Technical Program Manager, Developer Productivity

We're hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead our AI transformation in developer productivity: rethinking how engineers at Lyft work with AI, from tooling and agentic workflows to the platforms that make them possible. This role blends program delivery with product sense: you'll own the roadmap for your area, set priorities, and act as the voice of the customer.Responsibilities:Lead Lyft's AI transformation in developer productivity: shape the strategy for how AI enhances engineering workflows, from adoption of tools like Cursor, Copilot, and Claude Code to building AI-native workflows and agentic tooling for engineersOwn the roadmap: sequence the work, make the prioritization calls, and define what success looks like for AI-driven engineering productivity at LyftPartner with engineering teams to build AI-native workflows that solve real developer pain, not just deploy tools for the sake of itRun programs end to end, from kickoff through delivery, coordinating across infrastructure, developer platforms, and engineering leadershipBe the voice of the customer: partner with engineering teams across Lyft, surface their pain points, and feed that back into priorities and roadmapsDefine success metrics and adoption goals, gather and document customer requirements, and make sure what ships actually solves the problemPartner with engineering and infrastructure leads to build plans, call out risks early, and keep stakeholders alignedOwn program health: track milestones, surface blockers before they slip, and keep decision-makers in the loopUse your technical background to ask sharp questions and build plans the team believes inShare in the team's release oncall rotationExperience:5+ years in Technical Program Management or a TPM/PM hybrid roleA background in software, data, or systems engineering, enough to go deep with engineersExperience owning a roadmap: setting strategy, prioritizing across competing demands, and defining what success looks likeExperience with developer productivity, developer tooling, or engineering platformsHands-on familiarity with AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) and how engineers actually use themBonus: experience building or shipping AI-native or agentic workflowsA strong track record leading cross-functional programs with real dependencies and tight timelines, autonomously and with only high-level directionExperience owning customer relationships across engineering teams, gathering requirements, and translating their needs into roadmaps and technical specsAbility to glean meaningful insights from usage and productivity data to influence product planning and communicate to othersComfortable defining and tracking success metrics and adoptionClear communicator across the stack, from engineer to VPBenefits:Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolledMental health benefitsFamily building benefitsChild care and pet benefits401(k) plan with company match to help save for your futureIn addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have discretionary paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off18 weeks of paid parental leave. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
