Lightning AI operates globally with offices in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and London, and is backed by Coatue, Index Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, and Firstminute.What You'll DoWe are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional programs that span compute, network, storage, observability, and datacenter operations. You will drive delivery of high impact initiatives, define clear milestones and dependencies, and partner closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to ensure predictable execution in a fast moving technical environment.Drive execution across multiple infrastructure programs, including network builds and upgrades, storage initiatives, datacenter builds and expansions, and hardware/platform rolloutsOwn program planning, milestone definition, and dependency management across parallel workstreamsPartner with Infra Engineering, Network, DC Operations, Hardware, Security, and Platform teams to align scope, timelines, and deliveryCoordinate execution across initiatives such as:Network expansions, upgrades, and large-scale migrationsDatacenter expansions and capacity growthHardware bring-up and infrastructure readinessNext-generation platform rollouts (e.g. new GPU architectures), ensuring end-to-end readiness across infrastructure layersDrive cross-functional alignment to ensure infrastructure is ready for deployment, bring-up, and customer usageManage risks, blockers, and dependencies across engineering and operations teamsProvide clear, concise program updates to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plansOperate effectively in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment with shifting prioritiesContribute to improving execution frameworks, tooling, and program visibility across the infrastructure organizationWho You Are8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in infrastructure, cloud, or distributed systems environmentsStrong experience driving execution across multiple technical workstreams (network, compute, storage, datacenter infrastructure)Proven ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional programs without needing to be the deepest domain expert in every areaExperience operating across multiple infrastructure domains rather than a single area of specializationComfortable operating in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities and limited processStrong communicator who can align engineering, operations, and leadership stakeholdersSkilled in program planning, dependency management, and risk mitigationAble to manage multiple programs simultaneously while maintaining execution qualityIdeal ExperiencesExperience supporting infrastructure scale-out, hardware deployment, or capacity expansion programsFamiliarity with GPU/compute platforms, network infrastructure, storage systems, or datacenter operationsExperience coordinating infrastructure readiness for new hardware or platform rolloutsBackground working in fast-paced or high-growth environmentsExperience partnering across hardware, network, and platform/software teamsWe are committed to offering competitive compensation that reflects the value each team member brings to our mission. Final offers are based on factors such as experience, skills, geographic location, and role expectations.
