Job Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions via interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work alongside surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and effectively handling surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which involves managing medications, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Successful completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
