Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: South Windsor, CT
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $35-$45 per hour (based on experience)
Reports To: Director of Facility Operations

Position Overview

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our South Windsor, CT facility. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting facility operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, and general machine repair and maintenance
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes on key machines
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Maintain HVAC systems
• Support additional maintenance tasks as needed
• Cross-train and assist in other departments when required
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs
• Work evenings and weekends as necessary

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• High school diploma, technical school diploma, or GED required
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• Vacuum chamber experience (preferred but not required)
• 2-5 years of maintenance and facilities management experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
