Express Employment Professionals Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking full time Accounts Payable Clerk for a law firm based in Center City Philadelphia. This law firm is was founded in 1979 with a diverse legal team that focuses on representing labor unions, employee benefit funds, individual working people and their families.


Position Overview


The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for managing the firm's full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices while maintaining compliance with internal controls and financial policies.


Key Responsibilities


Process high-volume vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding


Match invoices with purchase orders and approvals


Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire payments


Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries


Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Pay rate - $23 p/hour
