Hospital Sitter &/or Family Case Monitor

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospital Sitter to provide exceptional care for children (not providing medical or nursing care). The Hospital Sitter stays with a child and provides appropriate supervision and basic childcare services while the child is hospitalized, may be required to provide court/case consultation if necessary, and ensures the safety and well‑being of children at all times (do not leave unattended). The Family Case Monitor monitors family interactions, documents visits as assigned, maintains detailed reports, and helps ensure the safety and well‑being of all participants. This position offers an opportunity to expand your skills while making a positive impact on children and families. Key Duties Interact with the child appropriately for the child’s age. Assist with feeding the child or assist the child with meals as needed and as age‑appropriateness dictates. Provide oral and written reports at the end of the shift. Observe and document family interactions. Supervise visits as assigned. Maintain accurate reports of family interactions. Help ensure the safety and well‑being of all participants. Qualifications One year of cumulative experience working with children. High School Diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. TB test required prior to starting.
