Job Title: Heat Treat Operator- Casting
Job Category: Light Industrial
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:30pm-12:00 am; 3rd Shift 11:30pm-8:00am
Pay: $18/hr +$1 shift differential
Job Summary
The Position follows standard work instruction and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
- Monitor Heat treat operations
- Complete hardness test
- Off load parts when necessary
Equipment and Hand Tools Used
- Heat Treat
- Hardness checker
- Air Buffer
- Gorbel Crane
Education and Aptitudes
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to stand on feet for 8+ hours per shift
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively
- Strong motor coordination and eye-hand-foot coordination
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Willingness to work off-shifts and overtime as needed
Required Skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License
- No physical restrictions that would prevent lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly
Desired Skills
- Prior manufacturing or machining experience preferred
