About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to serve as a key strategic partner in the integration of information and library resources with institutional and academic goals. The CIO will be a trusted advisor to the leadership team, with a focus on the role of technology in enrollment and student success. This leadership position involves overseeing a large team and managing both enterprise IT strategy and academic library leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing cybersecurity, data governance, and emergency preparedness, and must be adept at working in a faculty governance environment to develop technology strategies that align with the institution's mission. Applicants for the CIO role at the company should be prepared to bring a vision that unites information technology and college libraries in support of teaching, learning, research, and the operational life of the institution. The role requires a leader who can manage a significant budget, staff, and long-range planning, and who is committed to the values of the institution.
