Our New York business works closely with colleagues across Australia, Asia, Europe, and the Americas to support clients with complex cross border and capital market needs. Responsibilities This role is responsible for advising on and executing interest rate and foreign exchange derivatives for a portfolio of corporate and financial sponsor clients. The focus is on supporting clients to manage interest rate, foreign exchange, commodity and inflation risks arising from their business activities and transactions. You will work closely with clients to understand their underlying exposures and objectives, providing tailored hedging solutions across both vanilla and more structured products. The role involves partnering with internal stakeholders across Markets, Banking and specialist product teams to deliver coordinated, end to end outcomes for clients. There is a strong emphasis on building and developing relationships, particularly within the financial sponsor client base, and taking ownership of a defined portfolio over time. You will also contribute to the day‑to‑day management of client activity, supporting pricing, execution and ongoing risk management, while ensuring a high standard of client service and commercial discipline. Develop expertise across interest rate and foreign exchange markets to deliver tailored hedging solutions Advise on and execute derivative transactions across both vanilla and structured products Build a strong understanding of client businesses and transaction activity to identify and originate opportunities, with a focus on financial sponsor clients Strengthen client relationships and take increasing ownership of a defined portfolio and associated outcomes Work closely with teams across Markets, Banking, Credit and Legal to deliver joined up client solutions Proactively manage client activity and pipeline, contributing to revenue growth and franchise development Lead or support the structuring, pricing and execution of transactions, including more complex solutions Apply sound commercial judgement, balancing client outcomes with risk, pricing and credit considerations Support day to day client activity, with awareness of key risk drivers and pricing considerations Understand the impact of credit constraints and documentation on derivative structuring Partner with Corporate FX, DCM and Syndicate teams to support transaction‑led activity and client access to markets Contribute to the development of new or enhanced solutions where relevant Support broader business initiatives and ongoing team development Benefits You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative team with international coverage, at a time of continued growth across WIB. Fixed compensation for this role is in the range of $130,000 to $200,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus.
