You will address daily maintenance requests, perform general repairs, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our guests. Key Responsibilities
- General Repairs: Perform routine repairs involving basic plumbing (unclogging drains, fixing leaking faucets), light electrical work (replacing fixtures, outlets, switches), and minor carpentry.
- Room Maintenance: Address guest room work orders promptly, including fixing furniture, door locks, TVs, and wall coverings.
- HVAC & Appliances: Perform basic troubleshooting on PTAC/HVAC units, mini-fridges, and standard hotel appliances.
- Cosmetic Upkeep: Patch drywall, perform paint touch-ups, and keep common areas looking polished.
- Safety & Compliance: Inspect public spaces and walkways for safety hazards, ensure emergency exits remain clear, and follow all OSHA and hotel safety protocols.
- Preventive Maintenance: Assist the permanent team with scheduled routine checks on boilers, pool equipment (if applicable), and general building systems.
- Experience: 1-3 years of general maintenance experience, ideally in hospitality, residential management, or commercial facilities.
- Technical Skills: Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general hardware repair.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Communication: Strong customer service skills to interact politely with guests when handling in-room repairs.
