Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift Job Description

This position involves performing maintenance duties within a food manufacturing facility. Our facility is currently engaged in projects that focus on healthier options, contributing significantly to growth in sales.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with 3-phase motors, washers, and bearings.

• Perform preventative maintenance on food production machinery.

• Install machinery such as transformers and conveyors.

• Rebuild and repair motors and facility equipment.

• Work with equipment using schematics.

• Gain experience in electrical systems (PLCs) with brands like Allen Bradley and Siemens.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in preventative maintenance.

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical troubleshooting.

• 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing.

• Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge in electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Work Environment

Work in a GMP environment requiring beard nets, hair nets, safety glasses, and steel toe shoes. The position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, totaling 48-hour work weeks with built-in overtime. Pay is distributed bi-weekly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

• Bonus based of Performance
• Paid Holidays - (7 days)... NY Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.
• Attendance Bonus - $15/day (paid if employee works entire schedule for the week)
