Director Marketing Technology

LHH is partnering with a leading hospitality and consumer services organization to hire a Director, Marketing Technology Platform . This newly created leadership role will own the strategy, roadmap, architecture, and adoption of a next-generation marketing technology ecosystem centered around Adobe Experience Cloud. The Director will lead platform development, oversee implementation and governance, manage vendor partnerships, and build a high-performing internal team to support enterprise-wide personalization and customer engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep Adobe Experience Cloud expertise, experience leading complex martech transformations, and a track record of building and scaling technology teams. This is a hybrid position based in Phoenix, Arizona , requiring three days onsite each week. The role offers a competitive salary between $160,000-$189,000 , plus annual bonus eligibility, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to play a key role in a significant enterprise technology transformation. What you will do: Own the strategy, roadmap, and architecture of the organization's marketing technology platform (Adobe Experience Cloud), focused on personalization, customer data, and digital engagement. Lead and develop a cross-functional team responsible for platform architecture, integrations, governance, data management, and administration. Partner with executive stakeholders, product, engineering, marketing, and data teams to drive platform adoption and business value. Oversee implementation partners, managed service providers, budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments. Ensure platform compliance with privacy, security, governance, and regulatory requirements. Establish KPIs, operating models, training programs, and change management initiatives to support long‑term platform success. What you will bring: 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital platforms, marketing operations, or related technology leadership roles. Deep expertise with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, including Adobe Experience Platform and customer data technologies. Experience leading large-scale platform implementations, strategy development, and cross-functional technology initiatives. Proven success building, mentoring, and scaling technical teams. Strong understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, consent management, and enterprise architecture. Experience managing technology vendors, consulting partners, budgets, and service agreements. Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
