Associate, Project Management

Associate, Project Management with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Facilitate the implementation of large-scale strategic cross-divisional initiatives and deploy appropriate project management methodologies and governance tools to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and of high quality. Facilitate all Agile ceremonies for the project’s scrum team, including sprint planning, story grooming, daily stand-ups and retrospectives. Requires: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology and Management, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology and Management, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with the following: managing complex, cross-functional projects in a heavily matrixed organization, including direct oversight of engineering deliverables; driving solution implementation and benefits delivery that fully meets the organizational goals; defining and developing business case and scope, articulating issues, challenges, risks, dependencies, solutions, and providing status reports; leading projects through all elements of the software development life cycle (SDLC), using JIRA software for project management; designing solution or other design and strategic implementations within the Financial Services sector; communicating project status and risk items to a broad range of stakeholders, including Executive/Senior Management level; and managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
