Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:


Provide urgent and diverse emergency nursing care to patients in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure prompt, quality treatment and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver immediate care to emergency patients, including performing assessments and stabilizing conditions.
• Administer medications, IV starts, blood draws, and moderate sedation procedures.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment such as defibrillators, ventilators, and bedside cardiac monitors.
• Follow protocols for patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients to ensure clear care coordination.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 1-year emergency department experience.
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV starts, blood draws, splinting, and moderate sedation.
• Possess strong teamwork and patient-focused care skills.
• Ability to adapt to unit policies and regulatory standards.
• Preferred candidates with ENPC and NRP certifications.
