Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Respiratory Therapist, with RRT certification preferred
• Previous experience in long-term acute care or similar clinical environments highly valued
• Proficiency with ventilator management and advanced respiratory care
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, nursing, physical therapists, and other specialists
• Current state licensure and relevant certifications
• Ability to work compassionately with patients suffering from chronic pulmonary conditions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver focused, skilled respiratory therapy interventions for patients with complex needs, including ventilator-dependent individuals
• Manage ventilator weaning and ongoing assessment of respiratory status
• Collaborate with attending physicians, cardiologists, and pulmonologists to tailor care plans and promote patient recovery
• Support rehabilitation initiatives, working alongside physical therapists to help patients regain mobility and independence
• Educate patients and families on disease management, respiratory therapy techniques, and equipment usage
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital protocols
