Essential Duties & Responsibilities Installing wiring, electrical panels, outlets, switches, and lighting systems Setting up power distribution systems in new construction projects Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and building codes Inspecting electrical systems to identify problems or hazards Troubleshooting issues such as power outages, faulty wiring, or equipment failure Repairing or replacing damaged wiring, circuit breakers, and other components Testing electrical systems using tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters Ensuring systems meet local, state, and national electrical codes Following strict safety procedures to prevent accidents or electrical hazards Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Active TS/SCI clearance 2 years of relevant experience in commercial office buildings Knowledge of the Building Codes and Regulations Excellent organization skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Experience in testing and inspection reports to ensure accuracy Experience utilizing various tools and testing equipment to perform required duties Ability to work flexible hours Ability to work overtime Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows – understanding how work moves through a company. Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‑standard software. Knowledge of customer service practices – principles of providing quality service and managing inquiries professionally. Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles – awareness of proper handling of sensitive information. Communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Time management and prioritization – balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Problem‑solving and critical thinking – analyzing issues and selecting appropriate solutions. Interpersonal and teamwork skills – building rapport and collaborating effectively with others. Attention to detail – producing accurate, error‑free work.
