Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment protocols aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Facilitate hands-on therapy sessions, guiding patients through a variety of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed to alleviate pain and enhance physical well-being.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, ensuring compliance with established protocols and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and rehabilitation outcomes with precision.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment to ensure readiness for therapy sessions while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to optimize patient care and recovery strategies.
• Provide compassionate support and encouragement to patients, fostering a positive environment conducive to their rehabilitation.
• Ensure all patient interactions respect confidentiality and maintain the ethical standards of the profession.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, varying in age and rehabilitation needs, including children recovering from sports injuries, seniors with mobility challenges, and individuals rehabilitating after surgeries. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possession of a valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• A solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and current therapeutic interventions relevant to physical therapy practices.
• Effective communication skills, with the capacity to foster relationships with patients and collaborate seamlessly with the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
