Your Role & Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and crafting individualized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses independently or in collaboration with physicians (depending on credentialing)
• Educating patients and families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing treatments and medications within the scope of your practice
• Engaging in follow-up discussions and chronic care planning
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, holistic care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Tennessee
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days)
