ADUSA Distribution receives, stores, manages inventory, and ships fresh and non-perishable product throughout the network of local brand stores. ADUSA Distribution facilities handle a mix of product types, including fresh, frozen, grocery and health and beauty care items. Our team is supporting the supply chain network evolution to an integrated self-distribution model of the future, serving leading omnichannel grocery brands - Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop. To learn more about our company and the other supply chain companies of Ahold Delhaize USA PRIMARY PURPOSE Lead and facilitate full time salvage crew and participates in the salvage operation of the distribution facility DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act for department supervisor in his/her absence
• Help to plan, organize, delegate and follow-up with associate's job duties to be completed
• Key trailers completed into Yard Management System (where applicable)
• Maintain communication with the switcher to ensure accurate and timely trailer moves
• Ensure that all areas of responsibility are running in a safe, orderly, effective manner
• Perform own salvage tasks while ensuring that all crew tasks are accomplished to standard
• Train full-time and or sub-contracted crew on salvage tasks
• Responsible for workload coverage and scheduling of salvage crew
• Keep management informed of salvage needs and workplace issues
• Ensure that the crew understands and follows safe work practices
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work group or
• distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with Delhaize America standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity

QUALIFICATIONS

• Reach, stoop, bend and lift up to and including 60 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered

industrial trucks) PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• High School education
• Ability to perform and coach/teach all listed responsibilities without support of supervision
• Certified on a powered industrial equipment where applicable
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment preferred
• Excellent customer service, communication, verbal and written skills
• Demonstrate effective and successful leadership skills
• Ability to meet production standards set by the company
• Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
• Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
