Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday – 8 Hours per day / 40 Hours per week.
Location: Macon, GA - 31210
Job Type: Local Contract
Contract Length: 12-month contract (possibility to extend)
Pay Range: $90 - $95 an Hour on W2. (based on your experience)
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Perform month-end, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, schedules, and financial reports.
• Analyze financial results, budgets, trends, estimates, and risk areas.
• Support internal and external audits and respond to audit requests.
• Maintain and improve accounting processes, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.
• Collaborate with Financial Planning, Reporting, Tax, Supply Chain, Legal, HR, IT, and other teams.
• Support accounting systems and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Typically 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and applicable government regulations.
• Experience with general ledger and financial/revenue-cycle systems; Workday and Epic knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends during reporting periods and travel if required.
