Medical Science Liaison - Obesity - Kansas

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison for its obesity franchise covering Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. The role involves serving as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and opinion leaders, executing medical strategy, and conducting peer-to-peer clinical discussions to advance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchanges with opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and population health decision makers
- Engage clinical investigators and research sites supporting the obesity pipeline
- Present clinical, scientific, and economic data to healthcare institutions and integrated delivery networks
- Support sponsored and non-sponsored clinical research activities
- Provide field observations and insights to internal stakeholders to inform corporate strategies
Requirements
- Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience
- Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. preferred
- 1+ years Medical Affairs experience preferred
- 4+ years medically related field experience including 1 year clinical practice, research, or post-doctoral training preferred
- Current biotech or pharmaceutical Medical/Scientific Affairs experience preferred
- Cardiometabolic and/or obesity expertise preferred
