At Papa, companion caregivers, also known as Papa Pals, are warm, caring individuals who provide part-time companionship and assistance to older adults and families. Support includes help around the house, running errands, providing transportation, and most importantly—friendly company. As a caregiver in Portsmouth, RI, you'll make a positive impact in your community. We're seeking kind, patient, and reliable people with a passion for helping others.
Pay and benefits
- Earn up to $17.00/hr
- Bonuses
- Mileage reimbursement for transportation visits (depends on your location; not available everywhere)
Work on your own flexible schedule. Use the mobile app to choose from hourly visit opportunities, typically 2-4 hours each; create your own schedule around your life.

Caregiver job requirements in Portsmouth, RI
- Age 21 or older
- Ability to communicate in English
- Valid U.S. issued driver's license
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Able to pass a background check

- Proof of valid vehicle insurance with your name on the policy
- Access to a smartphone
- Access to a vehicle [VEHICLE_YEAR] or newer
- No prior healthcare or caregiving experience required
