We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician on 1st shift for our client who is a well-established steel fabrication and machining company that manufactures large steel products for various heavy industries throughout the country. We perform both traditional job shop work and production manufacturing for major industrial customers across the United States.

This hands-on position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient operations with minimal downtime. Candidates with expertise in industrial electrical systems, mechanical maintenance, or a combination of both.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
• Perform emergency repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Service CNC machines, welding equipment, overhead cranes, presses, and other industrial machinery
• Diagnose equipment failures and repair or replace faulty components
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all safety requirements
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and preventive maintenance records
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including motors, pumps, gearboxes, and bearings
• Perform mechanical repairs, rebuilds, alignments, lubrication, and adjustments
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and motor controls
• Diagnose and repair PLCs, VFDs, relays, sensors, and machine control systems
• Work on high-voltage, 3-phase power systems and electrical distribution equipment
• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and megohm meters
