About the Role

Our client, a leading outpatient physical therapy provider, is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join their team in Vienna, VA. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a critical role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting daily clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes

• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits

• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions and requests

• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system

• Verify patient information and assist with registration processes

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and staff

• Support clinic operations through administrative and front desk duties

• Effectively multitask between patient interactions, phone calls, and computer work

Required Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience

• Experience working in a medical office, healthcare clinic, or patient-facing healthcare environment

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn multiple software systems

• Experience answering and managing high-volume phone calls

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

• Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vienna, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
