Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Neurology

Shift: 3x12 hour nights

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Charting experience: Epic
• Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition/management
• Neuro assessments (NIHSS)
• Tracheostomy care, HFNC, non-invasive airway support
• Central line/PICC/port care and peripheral IV starts/maintenance
• Feeding tube care, wound care/Wound VAC
• Blood product administration, pre/post hemodialysis familiarity

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment and care processes.
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 16 hours
• Orientation modules and core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
