Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. seeks:

TITLE: Lead Software Engineer

DUTIES: Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot code for existing and/or new applications. Serve as a technology advocate, seek opportunities where technology can be utilized to solve business problems. Work in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering, solutioning, implementation, testing, deploying, supporting. Work closely with the product/business organization to review product roadmaps, analyze requirements, provide estimates, ensure business benefit, and support the business process. Collaborate within an Agile team working closely with the product owner, QA, and peer developers. Perform unit and system testing of applications/solutions. Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science and engineering. Update software and enhance existing software capabilities

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field with 5 years of related experience. Prior experience in/with: Developing applications with Java and J2EE technologies.

Implementing good Java Design Patterns. Spring MVC framework. Building Spring boot standalone RESTFUL Microservice APIs. Write Clients and Services for REST and SOAP APIs. Building front end Apps with Angular. Database concepts. Oracle or SQL database. Managing the Source Code with Version Control Systems including Perforce or GIT. Automating the Build and deployment pipelines with Jenkins, Maven and Cloudbees. Responsible for writing and maintaining the Stored Procedures. Writing Junit test cases using Mockito. Distributed Caching systems including EHCache, Hazelcast or Oracle Coherence. Developing dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI. Developing data processing solutions using Python. Building ETL workflows using tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS Glue. Role holder is eligible to work remotely on a hybrid basis, with manager approval, and must reside within commuting distance of the office.
