Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed ICU with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, serving an adult patient population
• Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients presenting with conditions such as sepsis, COPD exacerbation, hypotension urgency, and hypertension urgency
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using the Paragon electronic health record (EHR) system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Occasionally float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed to support staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 1–2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to the Paragon EHR system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care ICU setting
• Familiarity with managing sepsis protocols and critical hemodynamic conditions
• Experience floating to step-down or PCU environments
