Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals.

• Maintain an active caseload with a minimum of 27 client visits per week while ensuring adherence to documentation protocols, including clinical assessments, treatment plans, and case notes.

• Regularly engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to advance the mission of providing community-focused mental health services.
\n
• Utilize innovative and creative therapeutic interventions, adapting approaches to meet various client needs and preferences.
\n
• Prepare and submit session documentation efficiently and in accordance with Manhattan Behavioral Health guidelines to ensure compliance and accountability.
\n
• Coordinate care and services with families, case managers, medical personnel, school staff, and other community partners as appropriate.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical staff meetings and ongoing professional development training to enhance service delivery and teamwork.

• Contribute positively to a supportive team culture that encourages professional growth, well-being, and collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will provide therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, focusing on children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our approach ensures that all individuals, regardless of background, LGBTQ+ identity, or cultural factors, receive compassionate and competent support. The clients we serve often seek assistance for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, among other concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in the behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Holding a valid LMFT license from the state of New Jersey is essential for this position.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in completing clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and case notes, is crucial.

• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective client interactions and documentation.
\n
• Strong organizational skills to manage client caseloads and timely submissions of required documentation.
\n
• Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and demonstrate emotional stability in client interactions.

• Comfortable working with a culturally diverse clientele and fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment.

• Proficiency in Office 365 and familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems; experience with Valant is a plus.

• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, with opportunities for a sign-on bonus.
