Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients in a high-volume, Level II Trauma Center. The RN will be responsible for managing complex medical conditions, including post-operative recovery, cardiogenic shock, and patients requiring ECLS. The position includes float responsibilities across units, with a focus on cardiovascular ICU experience, and requires flexibility for every other weekend shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; ACLS, BLS, CCRN certifications; minimum 0 years of relevant ICU experience; experience with ventilated patients, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, ventilator management, conscious sedation, telemetry; hospital experience in community settings; two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiovascular ICU experience highly preferred; experience with special procedures and equipment as specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required across units due to staffing needs.
• Additional Information: This role involves caring for post-open heart surgeries, vascular surgeries, post-MI patients needing TTM and pressors, cardiogenic shock patients with devices including IABP, Impellas, VAD, CRRT, and patients requiring ECLS for cardiac and respiratory failure. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams. Orientation includes 36 hours of training.
