Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,249–$1,339 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour rotating (D/E/N) Start date: 07/06/2026 Location: Rochester, NY Travel assignment in a high-volume OR with diverse case mix Responsibilities Scrub for and assist with a wide variety of procedures across multiple specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center) Support robot-assisted surgeries using two DaVinci systems, coordinating with surgeons and OR staff Assist transplant cases involving livers, kidneys, and hearts as part of the program Maintain strict sterile technique, perform instrument counts, and manage instrument turnover and case cart readiness Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, circulating nurses, and support staff to ensure patient safety and efficient flow Troubleshoot equipment issues, anticipate needs during cases, and contribute to smooth turnover between procedures Requirements NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician Minimum two (2) years of OR experience Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma setting highly desired Able to scrub; strong gown/gloves skills and instrument handling BLS (American Heart Association) certification Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with rotating shifts Benefits and Support Dedicated assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC Credentialing and licensing assistance as needed for the assignment Ongoing operational support throughout the travel assignment Access to travel coordination resources and assigned point of contact #J-18808-Ljbffr
