Master Special Education Teacher (Summer School)

Position Overview Full‑Time Special Education Teacher for our Summer School Programs (07/08/2026-08/21/2026). Work with children who have unique needs, leading a classroom of eager students and collaborating with parents, school districts, and agencies to provide high‑level support. Responsibilities Lead the classroom and provide direction to a team of professionals and paraprofessionals. Supervise and support classroom education staff to ensure students receive the best possible support. Collaborate closely with parents, school districts, and other agencies to meet student needs. Foster an environment of creativity, energy, and growth for students and staff. Minimum Qualifications NYS Certification in Special Education (Initial Certification required). Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and currently pursuing a Master’s in Special Education. Minimum age 18 years. Ability to lift 50 pounds independently. Preferred Qualifications New York State Permanent Certification in Special Education. Master’s Degree in Special Education. 2+ years of experience with students with multiple disabilities.
