A Clinical Associate primarily supports students in an educational setting, assisting with academic tasks, and providing social and emotional support. Their focus is on facilitating learning and social-emotional integration within the classroom. This role requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives. Job Responsibilities: Academic Support: Assist students with assignments, homework, and projects. Provide one-on-one or small-group instructional support. Utilize strategies to enhance student learning. Social/Emotional/Behavioral Support: Provide emotional support and encouragement to students. Assist with social and emotional skills development. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Use individual and general classroom management strategies to promote academic and social engagement. Support students in managing their emotions and behavior. Communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents and other professionals. Collaborate with staff and supervisors as needed to assess and monitor concerns. Ensure overall safety and well-being for students in their care and supervision. Support students in related therapies as required. Work collaboratively with a supervisor when providing consultation and feedback. Participate in ongoing annual training and professional development opportunities Stay up-to-date on best practices in education and behavioral health Incorporate trauma-informed practices Maintain accurate timesheets and complete session notes in Central Reach Team: This role will be part of theclinical team, reporting to the NJ State and Regional Directors. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
