Payroll Administrator

We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and support employees with pay-related questions. This role is critical to keeping our workforce paid accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly/monthly payroll for [X employees] across [states/regions] Verify timesheets, overtime, PTO, and other pay adjustments for accuracy Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws (FLSA, state-specific regulations) Process new hires, terminations, garnishments, and benefit deductions Reconcile payroll data with HRIS and accounting systems Prepare and file payroll tax reports (federal, state, local) Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax withholdings Support year-end processes, including W-2 and 1099 preparation Assist with audits (internal and external) related to payroll Stay current on payroll regulations and recommend process improvements Required Qualifications 2+ years of payroll administration experience Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, UKG, Workday, or similar) Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and multi-state payroll a plus High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Preferred Qualifications FPC or CPP certification Experience in [industry, e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, staffing] Experience with multi-entity or multi-state payroll #J-18808-Ljbffr
