About the Role

Join a thriving gastroenterology team in the scenic Hudson Valley. We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality GI care in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for gastrointestinal conditions and preventive screenings

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Perform outpatient consultations and coordinate hospital-based care as needed

• Manage pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopic procedures

• Order and interpret diagnostic studies

• Prescribe medications and provide patient education

• Maintain detailed documentation in EMR systems

• Collaborate closely with gastroenterology physicians for optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

✅ Qualifications

Required:

• Current NP or PA license in New York State

• DEA certification

• Minimum 2–3 years of gastroenterology experience

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred:

• Experience managing inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, or GI motility disorders

• Hospital privileges (or willingness to obtain)

• Bilingual (Spanish preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $140,000 – $180,000 depending on years of GI experience and credentials

• Vacation: 2 weeks

• PTO: 4 weeks + 6 federal holidays

• CME: $1,500 allowance + 3 days
