Setting: Acute Care Hospital – ICU
Pay Range: $1921.36 - $2017.43 weekly gross
Schedule: 12-Hour Nights, 7p-7:30a (Note: Every other weekend, every other holiday)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local or Travel

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as an RN
• Must have previous travel experience
• Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of experience in the ICU
• Valid Registered Nursing license
• Be willing to obtain MD or compact state licensure

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in a hospital ICU, you will:

• Manage daily patient assignments, setting appropriate priorities.
• Anticipate intervention needs by other disciplines to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Compile patient data and formulate nursing diagnoses accurately.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and document outcomes precisely.
• Determine priorities for patient care needs or problems and reassess as indicated by changes in condition.
• Initiate and update a comprehensive nursing care plan based on scientific and psychosocial principles.
• Incorporate information from care planning conferences into written plans.
• Coordinate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan hospital and post-discharge care.
• Serve as a charge RN and monitor productivity and patient flow, if competent.
