Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at a location in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves providing specialized critical care to patients within a Level II Trauma Center environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience in a Level II Trauma Center, at least 2 previous travel assignments in ICU settings, strong Surgical ICU experience, ability to work in EPIC electronic medical record system, ACLS certification, trauma course completion.
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care Certification, additional trauma courses.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts including weekends; 3 out of 6 weekends per 6-week schedule; holidays as needed.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to areas of similar skill set, including other Intensive Care Units (ICUs) and Intermediate Care Units (IMCs).
• Additional Information: Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins Health System facility must be noted in the work history for rehire verification purposes. Applicants must have been away for at least 1 full year if previously employed as staff, PRN, or perm in any Johns Hopkins facility.
