Job Summary:
A Surgical, Urology, or Thoracic Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Nurse position is available in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing patient care in an acute inpatient setting with multiple levels of care, including adult inpatient acute, telemetry, and intermediate care with continuous vital sign monitoring. Candidates must bring their RN license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license; 2 years current nursing experience; dysrhythmia management; BLS (Basic Life Support); EMR experience with EPIC; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); IMC/PCU experience; 1-2 travel assignments.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience, ACLS, and previous travel experience.
• Float: Float as needed to area of like skill set (all of IMC and Medical Surgical Levels).
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month.
• Previous Employment with Johns Hopkins System: If the candidate has previously worked in any capacity for any Johns Hopkins facilities (Staff, PRN, Travel), this must be noted on the coversheet and in the work history for rehire verification. Candidates must be gone at least one full year before applying as a traveler. Ensure this information is verified before submission.
