Requirements

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice: Required
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in certain states, Preferred in others
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment: Required in certain states
• Venipuncture certification: Required in certain states

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across various age groups.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for interpretation.
• Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to patient confidentiality guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Manage supply inventory and perform other related duties as assigned.
