Summary of Role:
Responsible for overseeing field service operations for commercial and industrial mechanical/HVAC projects. Ensures safe, efficient, and profitable execution of service work while leading technicians, coordinating resources, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe work environment for technicians, subcontractors, and jobsite personnel
• Support, mentor, and train field technicians on safety programs, technical procedures, and company standards
• Ensure service work meets contract requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations
• Coordinate with sales, dispatch/coordinators, managers, and technicians to drive efficient and profitable service operations
• Assist leadership with technician performance reviews and team development
• Participate in operational and financial review meetings as needed
• Provide technician support for morale, communication, and technical troubleshooting
• Coordinate scheduling and dispatch of discipline-specific service calls
• Review open work orders and ensure timely completion of outstanding calls
• Perform equipment startups and complete required commissioning/startup documentation
• Conduct quality control inspections of completed field work
• Support technician onboarding and ongoing training efforts
• Plan and oversee field activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction
• Coordinate labor, materials, parts, equipment, subcontractors, and customer communication with minimal supervision
• Assist with pricing, quoting, and scope development when required
• Identify additional service opportunities and support upsell/additional work authorizations
• Complete all required documentation including labor time, service reports, open calls, and safety records
• Provide advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting support to field teams
• Ensure inspections are scheduled and completed successfully with owners, engineers, and inspectors
• Generate leads and referrals for future service opportunities
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, crouch, and work in active field environments
• Ability to safely handle tools and equipment throughout the workday
