Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by providing speech-language services across elementary, middle, and high school settings. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals in a dynamic, supportive learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Louisiana SLP licensure (required)
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with speech/language assessments and developing IEP goals
  • Ability to serve diverse student populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address a range of communication disorders
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, data, and required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support the development of educational plans
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize students’ success
  • Adapt therapy techniques to a variety of learning levels, from elementary to high school
  • Engage in professional development and stay informed about best practices in speech-language pathology
