Banking Center Manager (Full Time) - Dripping Springs Full Time Banking Center Manager Dripping Springs, TX, US Requisition ID: 10522 Position Purpose Responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of the banking center. Ensures that established policies and procedures are followed, oversees provision of a full range of services to customers and prospective customers, and ensures customers are promptly and professionally served. Trains, directs, and supervises lobby and teller staff and ensures banking center transactions, expenses, and profitability are in line with Bank standards. Essential Functions and Basic Duties Supervise work scheduling and workflow of daily routine operations. Ensure banking center security by ensuring all security procedures are followed by associates. Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with established Bank policies and with legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure weekly logs are completed correctly. Ensure monthly and quarterly audit requirements are met. Assist with customer service functions and assist in new account openings and teller line as needed. Cross‑sell Bank services. Implement changes to established policies and procedures within the banking center. Ensure all banking center transactions are balanced at the close of each day. Oversee individual accountability for the handling of cash and assist tellers in resolving balancing problems. Control and handle daily deposits in accordance with established policies and procedures. Periodically verify cash in possession of tellers and cash on the premises. Provide leadership through effective objective setting and communication. Directly supervise lobby and teller staff, ensuring high‑quality work and efficient operations. Determine work methods and flow through assigning, directing, coordinating, and reviewing tasks. Conduct regular meetings with banking center employees to inform and train, discussing areas needing improvement and changes in procedure. Ensure personnel are well trained in all phases of their respective jobs, complete orientation of new employees, perform cross training as necessary, and conduct security training. Track individual progress and conduct performance appraisals, formulate and implement corrective actions as needed, recommend promotions as appropriate, and provide leadership training to associates seeking management opportunities. Approve sick leave, vacation, overtime, and timesheets for each banking center associate and keep accurate payroll and attendance records. Ensure customers’ requests and questions are promptly resolved and handle complaints. Inform customers of Bank services and policies and counsel them regarding their financial needs and requested services. Maintain and project the Bank’s quality reputation. Coordinate banking center operations and pursue deposit growth. Establish sales goals and incentives to coincide with bank goals. Direct, coach, and lead staff’s participation in sales goals and incentive plans. Manage and oversee expenses and pursue cost‑saving measures. Continuously seek ways to improve banking center operations and productivity to meet established goals. Prepare periodic banking center activity reports and make recommendations to management for improvements. Ensure proper maintenance and general housekeeping of the building, grounds, work areas, desks, and equipment, including snow and ice removal. Ensure adequate supplies, forms, and equipment are available for personnel. Institute prudent safety measures. Keep management informed of banking center activities, progress toward objectives, and any significant problems; request assistance when necessary. Fill in and perform duties in banking center positions as needed. Attend assigned training sessions and stay current on new operational procedures. Performance Measurements Banking center services delivered efficiently and effectively in accordance with established Bank policies and standards. Current customer accounts maintained or expanded, and additional accounts solicited; good business relationships with customers, with questions and problems promptly resolved. Banking center personnel well trained and efficient, with activities well coordinated. Required reports and records accurate and timely. Management appropriately informed of area activities and any significant problems; suggestions provided for improved efficiency or effectiveness. Positive working relationships with banking center personnel, with assistance provided as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities Lead and manage team through training, development, and coaching of associates. Encourage others to set challenging goals and high standards of performance. Inspire associates to define new opportunities and continuously improve the organization. Celebrate and reward significant achievements of associates. Present a logical and persuasive case for proposals and positions. Assist team in addressing individual strengths and development needs. Qualifications Education/Certification: Associate degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience. Required Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of Bank services and products. Understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with Branch functions, policies, and procedures. Experience Required: Minimum three years related experience in a financial institution with a minimum of two years supervisory experience. Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills. Well organized. Ability to operate related computer applications and related business equipment. Attention to detail. Ability to maintain an effective and efficient workflow. Physical & Work‑Related Requirements Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs and brief repetitive wrist, hand, or finger motions. Sedentary work, mainly sitting. Ability to hear normal conversations and recognize ordinary information. Require normal vision for reading and inspecting documents or operating machinery.
