Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Inpatient on-call coverage: Monday-Monday, 8am-8pm. During call week, provider will also support outpatient office needs, including prescription refills, orders/signatures, and staff questions. Clinic may be scheduled during call week based on practice need, with reduced volume. Follow-up/non-call week: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, including hospital follow-up and outpatient responsibilities. Clinic is scheduled Monday-Thursday, typically 2-3 clinic shifts, either AM or PM.
• Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Types of Cases: Consults and hospital follow-up; 10-25 patients seen on average; call coverage for both inpatient and outpatient needs
• Call: Beeper call; call response time required: 10-20 minutes; phone consults available; call back rate: 5%
• EMR System: Epic

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Licensure: Must be licensed in Georgia only; IMLC not accepted
• Fellowship: Required (minimum 2 years)
• Credentialing: Estimated 60-90 days; temporary privileges available; licensing reimbursement provided by facility
• Preferred Skills: Intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents; familiarity with intravenous medications (required)
