Great opportunity for someone who enjoys making sound credit decisions while still keeping member service top of mind.What You’ll Do:Underwrite direct and indirect consumer loan applicationsReview credit reports, income, DTI, collateral values, and overall creditworthinessApprove, decline, or condition loans within assigned lending authorityReview loan documentation for accuracy and compliancePartner closely with loan officers, branch teams, and lending leadershipIdentify additional lending opportunities and help grow member relationshipsMaintain accurate loan files and underwriting documentationEnsure compliance with lending policies and applicable regulationsDeliver timely decisions in a fast-paced lending environmentWhat We’re Looking For:2–5 years of consumer loan underwriting experienceCredit union or financial institution experience preferredStrong understanding of consumer credit and lending guidelinesExperience with both direct and indirect lending is a plusStrong analytical and decision-making skillsDetail-oriented with excellent communication and time management skillsHigh school diploma/GED or higher requiredGreat opportunity for an underwriter looking to join a collaborative team and continue growing within consumer lending.HOUAC49 #J-18808-Ljbffr Burnett Staffing Specialists
