Payroll Clerk - Payroll Specialist

Desired Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment: To be determined
Pay Rate: $22.00 p/hour

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

Job Duties:
•Coordinates payroll processes to ensure all payroll needs are completed accurately and on time
•Reviews and approves employee timesheets and makes adjustments as needed
•Runs HR and payroll reports from Paycom
•Assists with preparation for audits by gathering required data
•Processes payroll accurately and within deadlines
•Assists with payroll-related data including new hires, transfers, separations, and pay changes
•Researches and resolves paycheck issues
•Supports HR administrative tasks and special projects

Minimum Qualifications:
•Associate’s degree preferred, or a combination of college and at least 2 years of related experience
•Experience in employee relations and payroll
•Strong attention to detail and follow-through
•Excellent organizational skills
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Ability to handle highly confidential HR information with discretion Company Description
