The Analyst Sales & Trading also Inputs trade details into trade capture systems as directed by the Sales or Trading desks. The position also ensures that all required economic attributes are captured to appropriately reflect the economic impact for which the trade was intended, positions are appropriately valued and allows for cash flows and risk to be accurately represented. The Analyst Sales and Trading ensures that all required counterparty details and trade control codes are captured to facilitate downstream operations and regulatory reporting processes accurately and efficiently.**Key Responsibilities:*** Provide high touch client service for a portfolio of institutional clients including hedge funds, asset managers, and ETF providers with a goal of fostering long term strategic partnerships* Manage key processes that support the team including Delta1 Reconciliation, Corporate Action Monitoring, EOD Trade Processing and Allocation, client cash settlements, new client onboarding, client reporting and audits, lifecycle, and reconciliation etc.* Monitor and validate daily swap trade activity across multiple trading platforms and counterparties to ensure transaction accuracy* Liaise with Trading, Derivatives, and Sales partners across the firm in New York as well as global offices to effectively deliver product to clients* Maintain a high standard of service through timely responses, strong attention to detail and resolutions to internal inquiries as well as client requests* Develop strong understanding of internal systems and work alongside external vendors to improve overall workflow* Work independently on ongoing initiatives to improve overall client experience* Effectively communicate with management and key stakeholders across the greater Prime Services team domestically and abroad**Depth & Scope:*** Knowledge and adherence to the following policies and procedures ensuring applicable staff under supervision are compliant:* Internal Trades* Trade Capture* Credit Risk* Market Risk* Trading Strategy (associated with the respective Market Risk Policy)* Trading Authority Letter* Trading Supervision Standard* Inputs trade details into trade capture systems as directed by the Sales desks* Cancels and amends trades upon instruction or notification from the Sales desks* Performs maintenance to applicable trades upon instruction or notification from the Sales desks**Education & Experience:*** Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics* Series 7 and 63* 0-3 years of related experience**Preferred Qualifications:*** Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including the ability to work comfortably within Excel* Degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, mathematics or related fields* Strong analytical problem-solving skills with emphasis on attention to detail* Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment* Proven ability to work well on teams, showing initiative, a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard**Physical Requirements:**Never: 0%; Occasional: 1-33%; Frequent: 34-66%; Continuous: 67-100%* Domestic Travel – Occasional* International Travel – Never* Performing sedentary work – Continuous* Performing multiple tasks – Continuous* Operating standard office equipment - Continuous* Responding quickly to sounds – Occasional* Sitting – Continuous* Standing – Occasional* Walking – Occasional* Moving safely in confined spaces – Occasional* Lifting/Carrying (under 25 lbs.) – Occasional* Lifting/Carrying (over 25 lbs.) – Never* Squatting – Occasional* Bending – Occasional* Kneeling – Never* Crawling – Never* Climbing – Never* Reaching overhead – Never* Reaching forward – Occasional* Pushing – Never* Pulling – Never* Twisting – Never* Concentrating for long periods of time – Continuous* Applying common sense to deal with problems involving standardized situations – Continuous* Reading, writing and comprehending instructions – Continuous* Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing – ContinuousThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
