Description:We are looking for a locums Hematologist Oncologist to provide coverage.The schedule includes a call rotation that requires night call Monday through Friday, after being on-site during the day.Weekend 24-hour call is also required before or after the scheduled week.Coverage is needed for 4 days per week, with 95% of the responsibilities being outpatient and 5% inpatient.The clinic operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with patient contact hours.The provider will be responsible for patient assessments, developing new treatment plans, ongoing treatment management, and referrals for ancillary services.Inpatient responsibilities will be shared between two facilities.The provider will see an average of 10–30 patients per day.The patient population includes Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.This position offers an excellent opportunity for informal teaching and patient interaction.
