Job Overview A law firm seeks a patent agent with an aerospace engineering background and experience with engine technology to join their team in New York City, NY. The role focuses on technology prosecution matters. Duties Work exclusively on patent prosecution matters. Utilize technical knowledge in aerospace and mechanical engineering. Draft and review patent applications. Requirements Registered patent agent with USPTO examining or law firm patent drafting experience. Undergraduate and/or graduate degrees in aerospace or mechanical engineering. Industry experience is a plus. Excellent academic credentials. Strong writing skills and analytical ability. Education Undergraduate degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering. Graduate degree preferred. Certifications Registered patent agent with the USPTO. Skills Deep technical knowledge in aerospace and mechanical engineering. Strong analytical and writing skills. Benefits Opportunity to work with a leading patent law firm.
