Technology Services Specialist

What You'll Do

• This is a field position supporting our retail locations.
• Support the day-to-day operations, performance, and availability of technology environments across retail stores, executive offices, mobile work environments, and other AT&T locations.
• Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize technology solutions to ensure reliable and efficient service delivery.
• Implement, configure, and deploy new technology solutions, software updates, hardware installations, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Design, test, and validate modifications to desktop systems, operating systems, applications, voice solutions, video technologies, and network environments.
• Respond to incidents and service disruptions, performing advanced troubleshooting and providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support.
• Investigate root causes of technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize future disruptions.
• Provide direct technical support for a broad range of infrastructure and end-user technologies, including desktop computing, telephony, networking, wireless services, point-of-sale systems, specialty devices, and related hardware and software.
• Partner with clients to understand technology requirements and deliver solutions that support business objectives and operational needs.
• Serve as a primary technology contact for assigned users and business groups, ensuring issues are communicated, tracked, and resolved effectively.
• Coordinate with internal support organizations and third-party vendors to manage escalations, drive resolution of complex issues, and maintain service quality.
• Support AT&T-sponsored events by providing technology planning, deployment, and operational support when required.
• Research, diagnose, and resolve technical issues while documenting findings, solutions, and support activities.
• Exercise independent judgment in managing assigned responsibilities and determining appropriate actions when established procedures are not available.
• Contribute to technology improvement initiatives and smaller-scale projects designed to enhance reliability, efficiency, and user experience.

What You'll Need

• 1+ years of experience managing the setup, configuration, and deployment of new technology solutions, designing, configuring, and testing updates and modifications to desktop, network, telephony, voice, video, applications, and operating systems
• Demonstrated experience providing technical support, incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in a business environment and in the field
• Demonstrated knowledge of desktop computing technologies, hardware, software applications, operating systems, and end-user support practices.
• Demonstrated experience in networking, wireless connectivity, telephony, voice, video, and related technology environments.
• Experience with system implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Ability to provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and decision-making.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and build productive working relationships with stakeholders and support teams.
• Experience supporting geographically dispersed technology environments.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred
• Knowledge of retail technology, point-of-sale systems, executive support environments, or mobile workforce technologies.
• Experience supporting technology infrastructure in large enterprise organizations.
• Additional technical certifications related to desktop support, networking, systems administration, or infrastructure technologies.
• Experience collaborating with third-party technology vendors and service providers.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement practices and operational efficiency initiatives.
• May require certifications in applicable technology disciplines where required by the business area.

Salary Range: $64,200.00 - $96,400.00
